Holly fuck, never seen Chucky Watts with that attitude. Interviewer:
"What drives you" Charlie: "getting to the end" That sounds like the
answer of someone that enjoys what he is doing.

They must of woke him up at 3 am or something. Charlie seems to have
the same opinion of the stones stadium shows these days that I have,
some old shit over and over again. Charlie has always carried on this
acted like he didn't care about being in a rock band and is really a
jazz musican better, if he was in a jazz band he would have to have a
second job selling fish and chips to pay the bills.

It is like Ron Wood and other famous folks that become "artists" and then
have their art exhibited at some gallery and they believe that it is because
the art is really great and not because they just happen to be famous.

i musta heard a different interview. charlie sounded like charlie, low key
but not at all pissed. after all these years of touring it's gotta seem like
just another gig/tour in many respects. i guess it's all in how you listen
to the interview..

He mellowed over the course of the interview, but the first few minutes he
was anything but happy, especially when he had to shield his eyes from a
blinding TV light while answering the same damn questions he's answered a
thousand times. Besides, people have the impression Charlie is some sort of
sweetheart all the time and that isn't the case, he can be a bit of a rotter
too.

I thought that Mick's interview was unusually interesting, as he talked
more about how they decide to do things than I've heard him talking
before.

Less said about Ronnie and Keith the better. :-(
